The main concept here was to create a cover for a book which could contain a collection of works and ideas around holography.
Besides this, my main goal was to create a design and a custom typography mixing together fine details and stronger shapes.
Using luxury printing finishes such as embossing and debossing was a part of the concept, giving the cover its full interest.
The idea was to design a cover book in traditional style, which could contain several works around holography.
Blind, colored or foiled, everything is digitally built to match what is possible to be created thanks to printing and finition.
It strenghtens the idea of marrying design made by computer and press together instead of unsettling one to the other.
Being a template, it also obviously can be useful with any kind of design and projects.
Once again, the focus is made on debossing, and enhancing very fine details.
The red shade reinforces the vintage look and strenghtens the gold foil on the edges.
